Covid-19 Pandemic
Back to 2000sAt National Museums NI we have been working to ensure the Covid-19 pandemic is represented in the collection for current and future generations. This has meant looking at both the impact of the pandemic and the public response to it. We are working with our audiences to understand and interpret their experience of Covid-19 and how social distancing and a public health crisis has affected them.
We were fortunate to acquire a collection of photographs taken by Tuck Goh, an Associate Specialist in the Emergency Department at the Ulster Hospital, during the Covid-19 pandemic. This enabled us to provide an important insight into the experiences of staff and patients within the South Eastern Health and Social Care Trust during the pandemic.
