Take part in our Ancient Ireland Minecraft Neolithic experience on Tuesday 23rd July at the Ulster Museum!

Our Minecraft world will transport you six thousand years into the past, so you can explore Ireland during the Neolithic period. Ancient Ireland was a very exciting time when new settlers came to Ireland, bringing with them a different way of life. Instead of hunting, fishing and gathering wild resources, these settlers farmed the land and raised domestic animals. They lived in permanent villages and built huge monuments to their ancestors. By playing through this Minecraft world and speaking to different characters on the way, you will begin to understand the life and culture of people living in Ireland during the Neolithic period.

Take part in an archaeological excavation, hunt for real-world artefacts in this virtual museum and build your own Neolithic world.
