Bout Ye Belfast? We’re having a wee do on Thursday 22nd August and we'd love to see you there. Consider this your invitation to KEEP 'ER LIT at the Ulster Museum Late from 18:00 to 22:00 - adults only.
Expect the unexpected at the Ulster Museum Late. Get creative with NI Science Festival, watch adult science shows with Scientific Sue and try out an art in motion VR experience, green screen photo booth and an experimental synth station with Nerve Centre. Explore the Archaeology Neolithic Minecraft world (usually for kids! So this one's for the big kids) and follow a Trad Trail with An Droichead. Bring a light-coloured tote with you on the night to have a unique 'keep ‘er lit' artwork printed on it for free by Leo Boyd Prints*. Learn to play the ukelele in under ten minutes with Vicondre Music, and learn all about archaeology - from prehistoric bushcraft to bead making. We'll also have life drawing for you to try! Local DJ Marion Hawkes will be setting the mood all evening, while you explore our art, nature and science galleries after hours - plus, get inked by our tattoo artists so you can carry your favourite museum pieces with you forever.** After all, the museum belongs to you!
There'll be BBQ & Pizza food stalls plus a bar (and a special Spritz bar) so you can head straight to the museum after work! (Remember to bring your ID for the bar).
Who said stay and play was just for kids? Come along. Bring your mates and 'mon in!

The wee small print
- You can show up any time between 18:00 and 22:00.
- Anyone availing of a free member ticket will need to produce their membership card on arrival.
- No vaping/smoking inside.
- This is an 18+ event.
- Walk-ups welcome!
- *Screen printing will run from 7-10 pm. We encourage you to bring your own tote or top to upcycle, but you can purchase one for printing for £3 on the night (cash only) -while stocks last!
