Slow Art Sunday
Date
First Sunday of every month
Time
14:00 to 15:00

Slow Art Sundays offer a chance to take time and look slowly at a selection of works from our art collection, helping people discover the joy of appreciating and loving art.

Join us on the first Sunday of every month for Slow Art Sunday, an opportunity to explore our art collections in more detail. Explore the influences and inspirations that contributed to the artwork, and find out our guide's favourite pieces! Feel free to sketch or bring your own interpretations as our guides bring the artwork to life.

Our next Slow Art Sunday on Sunday 2nd February will look at the Neil Shawcross stained glass window in our Modern History gallery. Explore its place within the Ulster Museum's Brutalist extension with our knowledgeable guide. We'll also look at the Angus Suttie ceramic sculpture found in our Applied Art gallery.
